Traverse Analytics Inc. (“Traverse Analytics”) is a Calgary-based emergency management intelligence company, modernizing how communities and organizations prepare for disasters. Our products and services help organizations effectively understand and prepare for the impacts of climate-related hazards – either as a means of preserving life, protecting property, mitigating risk, and/or ensuring profitable conditions for business continuity.

Founded in September 2024, Traverse Analytics has developed an industry-leading cloud-based, collective resilience platform. These pre-disaster solutions are delivered through a powerful blend of predictive modelling and expert advisory services. We provide extreme-weather impact forecasting, operational readiness support, targeted resource allocation, digital risk visualization, and end-to-end emergency management programs. We make risk understandable, collaboration seamless, and resilience achievable.

History
Founded by Amber Rushton, an expert in emergency management and public safety, Traverse Analytics emerged from firsthand experiences in disaster response and a recognition of the need for proactive risk management tools. The company’s inception was driven by the observed gaps in data collection and analysis, particularly in Indigenous communities and municipalities reliant on aging infrastructure. Traverse Analytics aims to bridge these gaps by providing actionable insights that promote life safety and resilience.
